Why am I being asked to approve sign-ins sometimes but not others?

Answer

When you’re on campus and signing in to a TAFE computer, you do not need to authenticate. Authentication is only required when using your own devices (laptop, phone, etc.) or when off campus.

If logging in to multiple portals that use Microsoft accounts (e.g. both Blackboard and Outlook) at the same time, the approval from one may carry over to the other.
