A standard says it is unavailable or that I can’t access it. Why?

Answer

There are a couple of reasons:

1. The Australian Standards platform has been upgraded or the subscription renewed. 

If you see an “Invalid parameters. Please re-download this document” error when you try to open an Australian Standard PDF from your device, you will need to go to the database to re-download the Australian Standard.

2. We do not have access to every standard listed on the standards website.

If you require a standard that says it is "unavailable":

Students - Contact your lecturer, who will need to then contact the library to arrange access.

Lecturers - Please fill out this form (https://forms.office.com/r/XjeAKpL5v5), which is also located on the standards help page under “Access Standards”  https://guides.dtwd.wa.gov.au/c.php?g=940915&p=6811472#s-lg-box-25572724.
Library staff will evaluate the request and be in contact with you.
