Can I access Microsoft 365 programs from home?

Answer

Yes. Students have access to both the desktop apps and the online versions of Microsoft Office programs (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Access your Microsoft365 account from the following link: http://portal.office.com/ or from the SMTAFE Student hub page: https://www.southmetrotafe.wa.edu.au/current-students/student-hub .

Click on the 'Launch Microsoft 365' tab from the top menu and if you are asked to log in use your TAFE email address and password.

Access online apps: There will be a list of apps going down the left-hand side of the page including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Click on these to access the relevant app.

Install desktop apps: Near the top-right of the page will be a button labelled “Install Apps”. Click one of the two options to be provided with a download link.
