If we embed videos in Blackboard using an embed code, do we need to attribute them?
Answer
Linking and embedding does not technically require an attribution because these are not copyright activities. That said, it can be useful for students and good academic practice to mention the name and source of the content you are linking to. When embedding videos using an embed code, it is possible to include the title and source of the video and this will then appear on or above the video thumbnail.
